How we started

Our journey began as a small IT training provider, driven by two apprenticeship experts frustrated with rigid Apprenticeship Management Software (AMS) that failed to deliver bespoke, real-world training. They saw that one-size-fits-all curriculums left apprentices unprepared, and tick-box assessments didn’t truly reflect competency. Additionally, costly compliance processes burdened businesses. We created a smart software solution to offer flexible, high-quality training while streamlining compliance and reducing costs.

CoolAMS was created to address these gaps, offering a flexible, customised training approach that better prepares apprentices for the workplace.

Our Values

We offer flexible options, which you can adapt to the different needs of each business.

Genuine, meaningful partnerships

We want training providers to truly understand their apprentices: to recognise their strengths and weaknesses, stay informed about their workplace activities, support their career goals, and most importantly, identify what they need to succeed.

Tailored, timely training plans

We understand that rigid training plans can be ineffective for apprentices who need to quickly master specific technologies or skills. That’s why we prioritise flexible training plans that adapt to each apprentice’s needs.

Precise competency assessment

Since apprenticeships are evaluated through professional discussions rather than exams, we think competency should be assessed similarly. Instead of relying on tick-box exercises, we advocate for meaningful conversations with SMEs to truly gauge an apprentice’s abilities.
