The Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE) Calculator has been developed to support compliant apprenticeship planning from the very beginning. This tool helps training providers assess a prospective apprentice's prior learning and experience, providing guidance on how apprenticeship duration may be affected in line with current ESFA requirements. By automatically calculating recommended duration reductions, the RPLE Calculator helps reduce manual effort, improve consistency and provide greater confidence in compliance decisions.
